No community-mapped points in this snapshot
The OpenStreetMap snapshot captured 27 Aug 2026 contained 0 surveillance points inside the county boundary. This is a result from that source, not evidence that no surveillance technology operates in Wahkiakum County.
About the map →Wahkiakum County, four and a half thousand people on the Columbia’s lower reach, shows no surveillance technology in anything we could read. No Atlas of Surveillance row exists for any agency in the county, and across 270 readable board documents from 2024 through 2026 the only matches for our search terms were bird-flu guidance about poultry flocks and two civic projects that wanted drone video of themselves. The county’s deliberations may hold more: nearly half its minutes are published as scanned images with no text layer, the heaviest such backlog in our Washington coverage, so the absence is scoped to the readable half, and the records request asks the Sheriff’s Office for its inventory and the clerk for readable minutes.
What this record does not cover
The 249 scanned-image minutes. Cathlamet’s town marshal, municipal.
Community contributors have mapped no devices in the county in OpenStreetMap yet. When that count appears, it will cover every agency and business at once and never merge with anything above.
